Thomas Talbot Lodge A.F. & A.M.
Thomas Talbot Lodge is an active, dynamic and diverse lodge. It has a proud tradition and history dating back to 1889 when it received its charter from the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts. The Lodge is named after Thomas Talbot, the 31st Governor of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and a member of Lowell's Ancient York Lodge.
Our lodge building is located in the center of the working class town og Billerica. We draw members from several communities on the north shore of Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. The lodge is proud to serve over 300 members. We have been steadily growing every year, which perpetuates an exciting spirit of ongoing development and growth. Our members vary widely in age and experiences.
We are highly involved, well represented and active participans in state and regional activities, leadership, and training. We have a very close, supportive fraternal bond; and are highly active in Masonic, social and community service events including Red Cross Blood Drives, MyChip Events, Monthly Breakfasts, Game Nights, Dinners, Veteran's Programs, and various other events. Our events are fun, valued, and well attended by our members, families and the local community. We are highly family oriented and encourage and foster family participation in our lodge events.
We are proud of our strong partnership and support of other lodges within and external to the 12th district. We are also proud of our heritage and our accomplishment of attainting the highly coveted Grand Master's Award several times over a period of years.
