Siloam Lodge A.F. & A.M.
Siloam Lodge was organized in 1866 by its first Worshipful Master notable Westborough resident George Forbes. Siloam Lodge has met in three different locations throughout since its institution on June 14, 1866. During the years of 1866 to 1869 Siloam met in what was known as the Union Block, which was located on South Street where the Telegram-Gazette office is now located. The lodge then changed its location to what was then known as Post Office Block, where it met from 1869 to 1966. In 1966 the brethren approved the purchase of a Methodist Church which would then become its current location.
Siloam, where the name of our lodge comes from, is the celebrated pool at Jerusalem, where men came to refresh themselves and gain the knowledge of the finer and more meaningful things in life, that make him more valuable to himself and his fellow man.
We co-host the Ben Franklin DeMolay Chapter along with special meetings of Rainbow girls. We have recently renovated several areas of the lodge and dining area. Come and meet with us. The food is always the best, and the fellowship is equally great and warm.
